Train travel

This is already an extremely popular choice and every year more and more skiers are choosing to travel by Eurostar. Please note that this direct service from London only operates in the winter.

Eurostar Direct

The most popular choice, taking you directly from London St Pancras all the way to Bourg St Maurice and only 15 minutes taxi drive to Montchavin.

  • The Day train departs London on Saturdays during the winter season
  • The Night train departs on Friday evenings ( good train links for guests travelling to London to use this service )
  • There is no couchette coach on this train, passengers remain in their seats
  • A comfort pack is provided on the night service
  • A bar-buffet with a choice of snacks, hot and cold drinks and meals are available for Standard Class.
Please visit www.eurostar.com for prices, times and availability.

In the summer months the fastest way to travel to Montchavin is by travelling by Eurostar from London St Pancras – Paris and taking a direct train with SNCF to Landry.  The village of Landry is at the bottom of the mountain and only 7 minutes taxi drive to Montchavin. For more details visit www.sncf.com
